We used
* glass and plastic containers
* water
* food colouring
* oil
We found out that oil floats on water. Oil and water don't mix!
We used tissues to pretend to be birds that go in the water when there is an oil spill. The tissues soaked up the oil, just like the birds do.

doing the oil spill was veary fun we use oil for cooking i loved pouring the coulering in .it was fun mixing to. the oil stad on top by shaye.

ReplyDeleteIsabelle thought that your experiment shows just how clever you are and she bets you had lots of fun. Eli said boats sometimes have oil spills and you are talented to find out about that oil and water don't mix.
You taught us something that we didn't know. Poor birdies! Your class must be very smart because we wouldn't have thought of that.
