Today we used calculators to subtract numbers. We took away the tens first and then the ones. It's called the split method.

Nothing can separate us from God's LOVE

Today in Devotions we looked at Romans Chapter 8. We used paint to show that we can NEVER be separated from God!

We used white paint to show God and pink paint to show us.

Nothing can separate us from God!!

Romans 8:39

"Nothing at all can separate us from God's love because of what Christ Jesus our Lord has done."

Addition with and without trading

Who needs workbooks? This week we have been revising addition. We have been looking at bridging to 10- where you make add two single digit numbers to make 10 first, spilt strategy where you add the 10's and then the 1's and adding with and without trading- which is the main way most of our parents learnt. We are learning all these different ways do that we can use them to do Maths in our heads (or mentally). We found a great game on the interactive whiteboard too! http://www.ictgames.com/spacejumps.html
